Number Five
What a very strange thing,
I see myself below,
I must have grown some wings,
I’m up high, but also down low!
Perhaps I need a break
From all that I’ve been through
It’s all to much to take,
Blank out – that’s what I’ll do
I’m neither here nor there,
But somewhere in between,
It’s more than I can bear,
The things that I have seen.
I’ll walk along this dream,
Until I wake again,
Nothing is as it seems,
Least of all the pain.
