Full time young onset dementia trainee - Specialist Psychiatry Registrar in Young Onset Dementia. August 2010-February 2011This position is an excellent opportunity to work full time in an assessment service for patients with Young Onset Dementia. This position has been established at the Neuropsychiatry Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital under the auspices of the Commonwealth Government Expanded Specialist Training Programs initiative. The successful applicant’s roles will include- inpatient and outpatient assessment and follow up of patients with Young Onset Dementia.- attendance at neurogenetics clinics- close liaison with the Alzheimer's Association and the Huntington's Disease Association- the delivery of educational programmes to clinicians, patients and carers- undertaking of supported research in this area.- involvement in the development of services for this patient and carer group,
